Will Morley, University of Huddersfield, graduate of 2021
I chose logistics because I felt it was a profession that fitted my skill set, but also allowed me to travel, if I wanted to. I became a NOVUS student as I felt it was an excellent way to bridge the gap between University and working life. In addition, I think the NOVUS scheme gave me a structure on how to approach certain aspects, such as finding placements, which I have really benefited from. I am a logical thinker with good problem solving skills. Also, I have no issue working quickly or under pressure, allowing me to be versatile and adaptable, which I believe is very important in the logistics profession.
I am currently doing a summer placement with Clipper Logistics in Ollerton, and will be looking for a third year placement on my return to University. After I graduate, I would like to do something that revolves around transportation, as it is something I am really interested in and also gives me the opportunity to travel.
